Base stats
Level 1 base, and the Level 60 projection. Stats grow ~10% of base per level (HP/ATK/DEF); Speed does not scale with level, so a fast hero stays fast relative to the field all game.

Light heroes resolve their type advantage like this:
Advantage is ×1.30, disadvantage ×0.75. See the full type chart →
Signature abilities
Detailed ability breakdowns
These signature abilities now fire in battle with their own damage and cooldowns — a bigger skill or ultimate hits harder, and the two healers restore HP instead of striking. Still on the way here on the site: the full per-ability breakdown (exact multipliers and effects), plus deeper mechanics like status effects and multi-target hits.
Lore
The Holy Paladin holds a Solstice Empire commission as a Knight-Consecrate of the Dawn Oath, third grade — the rank below Knight-Captain and above Sworn Brother, the rank at which a paladin is deemed authoritative on the field but not yet on doctrine. Her given name appears on Empire muster-rolls as Iselm Hadric, of a minor lay-noble house that has provided the Dawn Oath with one paladin per generation for six generations; the muster-clerks have noted that she is the first in that line to take the Knight-Consecrate vow without a corresponding land-grant, a choice the house elder has officially called 'principled' and privately called 'inconvenient.'
Her combat-grant is the well-attested oath-shield reflection: blows meant for allies in her covering arc redirect into the shield-face and return as a solar burst. Less well-attested is the cost — every reflection draws against her own oath-reserve, a measure the Dawn Oath prelates monitor by tested dawn-ritual rather than by self-report. Iselm has been called to Empire chapels three times this campaign for the test, and three times has been cleared for return to the line; the prelates do not publish their threshold, but Iselm's squad-priest has told her, off-record, that two of the three returns were closer to the line than is normally permitted.
She has a standing operational quarrel with Devren Korr (char_court_mage) — Korr's orders during the latest border action included a Cult-purge sweep that Iselm believes overstepped the engagement parameters specified by the chapel-of-record. She has filed two complaints through the Dawn Oath chain rather than the field-mage chain, which is a procedural choice the Empire's record-keepers describe as 'consequential.' The complaints have not yet been ruled on. She has made no public comment on the mercenary Maris Veloren (char_maris_veloren) but has been observed to leave any tent in which Veloren's name is spoken — the two are said to have a history from before the paladin took her vows, and her squadmates have learned not to ask about it.
