Detailed ability breakdowns

These signature abilities now fire in battle with their own damage and cooldowns — a bigger skill or ultimate hits harder, and the two healers restore HP instead of striking. Still on the way here on the site: the full per-ability breakdown (exact multipliers and effects), plus deeper mechanics like status effects and multi-target hits.

Lore

The first time a visiting officer meets General Thalia Crowe, the officer almost always asks, politely, to be taken to the general — because the cheerful twenty-one-year-old in front of them cannot possibly be her. She enjoys this. She has stopped correcting it quickly, because the moment the realization lands is, she says, the most honest reaction she ever gets out of a senior officer. Then the briefing starts, and inside ten minutes the visitor understands exactly how someone this young ended up commanding the Empire's southern field-army: she is simply better at it than the people who outrank her, and everyone who has served under her already knows it.

She earned the star the unglamorous way — line duty, then a field commission nobody could argue with, then three campaigns where her units took the objectives and came home with their people, which in the imperial accounting is the only currency that actually counts. She fights from the front in heavy plate and a tower shield, holds the hard point herself, and has a standing rule that she does not order a position she would not personally stand on. Her soldiers would walk into the sea for her, and the reason is not the competence, though the competence is real. It is that she knows all their names, asks about their families, and has never once spent a life she did not have to.

She is warm, direct, quick to laugh, and almost impossible to intimidate, which makes her the rare general that frightened recruits actually approach. The Empire's older commanders find her informality alarming and her results unanswerable. She is, by design, one of the most accessible heroes a new commander can rally to their banner — she says yes easily, fights honestly, and treats a green squad-leader with the exact same straight-backed respect she gives the Crown Council, which is to say: courteous, fearless, and entirely unbothered by your rank.
