Economy
Economy & Best Buys
Where every currency comes from, what the shop actually sells, and exactly where your gems and gold go furthest — no guesswork.
Currencies
Gold
The soft currency. Pours in from campaign, idle income and the Tower. Spent on evolving heroes, upgrading gear, and the daily shop. You'll rarely be short on sources — only on places to spend it efficiently.
Gems
The premium currency — but generously earnable in-game from campaign bosses, Arena, the Tower, guild raids, login rewards and the Battle Pass. Spent on summons and the Battle Pass. Treat them as precious.
Energy
A vestigial third wallet slot. Nothing in the game consumes it — campaign and every other mode are free to run as often as you like — and there is no design intent to bring it back. Ignore it.
Various modes also award their own tokens (Arena, guild, raid and Labyrinth currencies). All four have live exchange counters in the shop — they trade for enhancement and evolution stones, summon tickets, master XP books and, for Labyrinth coins, gems.
The daily shop
Seven offers, refreshing every day. Every one is limited to a single purchase per day — a daily deal you can buy five times is just a shop item, so the stock limit is 1 across the board.
| Offer | Cost | Limit | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| Summon Ticket ×1 | 150 gems | 1/day | ★ Best buy — half a pull's price |
| Novice XP Book ×10 | 1,000 gold | 1/day | Great — buy every day |
| Basic Evo Stone ×2 | 2,000 gold | 1/day | Great — fuels early ranks |
| Greater Evo Stone ×1 | 15,000 gold | 1/day | ★ The only steady source for rank 3–5 |
| Apprentice XP Book ×5 | 5,000 gold | 1/day | Solid |
| Bond Gift ×1 | 2,500 gold | 1/day | Good — bond is the cheapest power in the game |
| Pet Treat ×5 | 1,000 gold | 1/day | Worth it once pets matter to your squad |
Battle Pass
A 20-tier seasonal track (≈30 days) with a free lane and a premium lane unlocked for 500 gems. It levels as you play campaign and guild content. The premium track pays for itself several times over:
Free track
- Gold & XP books throughout
- 3 Summon Tickets
- Bond gifts
- 800 gems total
Premium · 500 gems
- 3,400 gems total (6.8× the unlock cost)
- 3 Summon Tickets
- 3 legendary heroes outright — Aria Lockwood (tier 5), Cassia Arden (10), Corin Aster (20)
- Evolution & XP materials
Premium Battle Pass is the best gem investment
500 gems in, 3,400 gems back in the premium track alone — plus three summon tickets, evolution and XP materials, and three legendary heroes granted outright at tiers 5, 10 and 20. As long as you'll reach tier 20 in the season (routine if you clear campaign and guild content), it's a net +2,900 gem swing before the heroes are even counted. Unlock it early so rewards bank as you level.
There is a third option: Premium+ for 900 gems, which is the premium track plus an instant +10 tier skip. It buys time, not content — the rewards are the same ones you would have reached by playing. Take it only if you're starting a season late.
Recommended buys
- Nothing — take your two free daily pulls first. One free single-pull per banner per day, before you spend a gem.
- Daily Summon Ticket (150 gems). Every single day. Half-price pulls compound fast.
- Premium Battle Pass (500 gems) each season. The highest-return gem spend in the game.
- Daily gold deals — XP books, evo stones and the bond gift. Gold is abundant; convert it into roster power every day. The 15,000-gold Greater Evo Stone is the one that unblocks rank 3 and up.
- Skip Premium+ (900 gems) unless you're joining a season late — it buys tiers you'd reach anyway.
Real-money packs
In-app gem packs and value bundles (a $2.99 starter pack and a VIP bundle) are set up but not yet purchasable — the store gates every real-money offer behind receipt verification that hasn't shipped, so the in-game store shows them as unavailable rather than charging you. Until they go live, everything above is gem- and gold-based and fully earnable in-game.
